Box Profile Roof & Wall Cladding Sheets
From needing just one sheet to repair a hole in your roof to re-skinning an entire building, FarmFit can supply the box profile sheets you need.
The skill of the highly experienced team at Coverworld has helped the company grow from its 1980’s origins to become one of the country’s leading independent producers and suppliers of single and twin skin coated steel cladding systems, processing in excess of 25,000 tonnes of coil per year. ISO certification and CE markings further enhances their first class reputation.
Here at FarmFit, we supply a range of roof and wall sheets from Coverworld, along with a wide variety of matching flashings. The box profile sheets we are supply have been specifically chosen for their strength, their long-lasting durability, and their suitability for use on agricultural and industrial buildings.
We supply roof and wall panels in 1m widths and in any length from 1 to 6 metres long.
Profiles
32 Profile Roofing Sheets
The CR32 is our most popular and our preferred roof profile, being strong, aesthetically pleasing, and installation friendly due to the broad trough between the crowns.
It is available in all finishes and colours, and the profile is also available with a non-drip backing which is ideal for controlling humidity in livestock buildings.
Please see this data sheet for all relevant load tables.
34 Profile Roofing Sheets
The CR34 is also a very popular profile and with its narrower pitch it offers increased loading benefits over the CR32 profile.
It is a robust profile, suitable for the majority of roofing applications whether industrial or agricultural, new or refurbishment.
Please see this data sheet for all relevant load tables.
32 Profile Wall Cladding Sheets
The CW32 is our most popular wall profile, being strong and aesthetically pleasing.
It is available in all finishes and colours making the profile highly adaptable, and venting is an available option, which is ideal for agricultural buildings requiring constant ventilation.
Please see this data sheet for all relevant load tables.
34 Profile Wall Cladding Sheets
The CW34 is also a very popular profile and with its narrower pitch it offers increased sheeting rail spacing benefits over the CW32 profile.
It is a robust profile suitable for the majority of cladding applications whether industrial or agricultural, new or refurbishment.
Please see this data sheet for all relevant load tables.
Thicknesses
All box profile sheets are available in both 0.5mm and 0.7mm thicknesses. Their use is determined by the loading the panels will be required to undertake, for example worker access on roofs or wind load in exposed locations.
This CAD image shows the sheet thicknesses next to a representation of a 1p coin, with a 0.5mm sheet shown above a 0.7mm sheet.
Our standard recommendation for roofing is a thickness of 0.7mm while we usually use 0.5mm for wall cladding, and our expert team will guide you through the process to determine which one is right for you.
Colours & Finishes
Plastisol (PVC)
The Plastisol coated finish is Coverworld’s most popular finish, offering a durable, weatherproof topcoat suitable for most roof and wall cladding systems where good performance is required at a competitive price. Plastisol has an embossed leathergrain texture with good corrosion resistance and excellent abrasion resistance, this coupled with a guarantee (not automatic, must be applied for) of up to 25 years makes it clear to see why it is such a popular material. The external coating is 200μ thick and comes in a wide range of standard colours with a standard 7μ grey back coat reverse.
Polyester
The Polyester coated finish is another very popular material where a less expensive option is required. The Polyester coating is a 25μ smooth finish and whilst it does not have the lifespan or durability that a Plastisol coating has it still offers a long lasting finish with very good corrosion resistance. It’s a very popular product for the agricultural market due to it’s cost effective nature and the range of colours it is available in.
Optional Extras
Anti-Condensation (Non-Drip) Backing
Only available on 32-profile roof sheets
Coverworld Non-Drip is a galvanised prepainted steel profile sheet, coated on the reverse side with an unwoven fabric which regulates condensation. It is ideal for single skin, insulation under rail and insulation over false ceiling constructions where condensation control is of prime importance. For example;
- Cold Stores
- Sports & Leisure Centres
- Chill Rooms
- Agricultural & Equestrian Buildings

Technical Information
Coverworld Non-Drip backing is applied to the underside of the sheeting during the roll forming stage. When rolling, the overlap edge is left uncoated which helps to prevent water being drawn into the lap by syphonic action. This is shown on the drawing by the green line to the underside of the profile.
Technical Characteristics
External Coating – Normally a leathergrain embossed 200µ thick Plastisol with an epoxy primer on the reverse. It can also be applied to the Polyester, HDX & PVDF finishes.
Condensation Regulating Fabric – It has an unwoven polyester cellulose composition, and comes as a white / light grey mix colouring. The weight of the material is 110 grams per m² covered.
Corrosion Resistance – After 1000 hours in a salt spray, the adherence of the fabric to the steel sheet is identical to that before the test. Four barriers seperate the humid area from the steel;
- The zinc
- The chemical treatment
- The primer
- The adhesive
The corrosion resistance is therefore greatly improved. It can also help in harsher environments as the adhesive is rubber based giving an additional layer of protection between the environment and the steel sheet.
How It Works
Coverworld Non-Drip helps to control condensation in environments where it occurs cyclically. It cannot prevent condensation, only control and mitigate the effects of it. For the material to work effectively thebuilding has to be adequately ventilated to allow the fleece to dry out between cycles.
During manufacture, an unwoven fabric is coated to the reverse (non-weather face) of the sheet. This fabric is an unwoven polyester cellulose composition which absorbs moisture, releasing it in an even and controlled manner when the temperature rises, typically a night/day cycle.
For the material to work effectively the building has to be adequately ventilated to allow the fleece to dry out between cycles. Ideally the ridge and eaves should be left open without the use of foam fillers, if the use of foam fillers is a requirement then an alternative roof construction should be considered. The roof pitch also has a significant bearing on the products performance and with this in mind a minimum roof pitch of 10° is recommended, for roof pitches below 10° please seek advice from our sales team.
Vented Wall Sheets
Only available on 32-profile wall sheets
The Coverworld Ventair wall sheet has been designed to provide an effective ventilation solution for a variety of building applications.
It has an increased airflow in comparison to Yorkshire Boarding and is suitable for a variety of ventilation projects. The vents are 80mm wide and are spaced at 75mm centres. There must be a minimum of 225mm unvented material at the top and bottom of every sheet and the maximum sheet length available is 7000mm.
Although primarily aimed at the agricultural market it is not limited to this and can be successfully used in a variety of other applications wherever natural ventilation is required.
It is only available in the 32 profile wall cladding sheets, and we recommend using the Polyester finish option.
