The CalfOTel calf igloos are specially designed for rearing calves outdoors. The calf hutches form an ideal environment for the first weeks of a newborn calf's life.

The calf hutch stands out from the rest due to the strong and durable material and its unique and patented fencing. The wheels underneath our calf hutches make them easily transportable if they need to be moved or for high-pressure cleaning elsewhere on the yard. Replacing the straw is almost effortless due to the tilting fences, which can be operated with one hand thanks to the smart locks.

Made of fibreglass-reinforced polyester, which guarantees a prolonged service life and shade temperatures in the summer.
The smooth inside layer prevents bacterial growth and is easy to clean.
The threshold keeps the straw inside the hutch.
Practical fence, can be opened with 1 hand.
The hinged fence can be tilted up, both with and without a front section, and always retains a permanent U shape. With the fence tilted up, the outdoor accommodation can be easily and rapidly cleaned with equipment.
The hutch can also be tilted forwards by means of hinges. This uncovers the straw from the inside area, allowing you to quickly and effortlessly clear it away.

CalfOTel Plus range

The CalfOTel Plus is a calf hutch suitable for the outdoor rearing of calves from 0 to 6 weeks. The CalfOTel Plus has a similar height as the CalfOTel Small. Thanks to the extra length of the hutch, calves have more space and enjoy more protection. The length is similar to that of the CalfOTel Comfort. The three ventilation holes provide a better climate and comfortable ventilation without any draughts.

CalfOTel Comfort range

The CalfOTel Comfort is an ideal calf igloo for rearing calves from 0 to 8 weeks old. Compared with the CalfOTel Plus, the increased height of the calf box makes it easier to access, for example when you need to help the calf to stand up.

A recent update to the CalfOTel Comfort has improved the product's quality and ease of use. The castors are now integrated into the plastic threshold, making the calf hutch easy to move for relocation or cleaning. The teatbucket and information sheet can be placed at the corners of the fence, so that the buckets can be filled quickly and efficiently and the calf can be easily identified. Changing straw is a piece of cake thanks to the fold-up fencing, with smart shutters that enable it to be opened and closed with just one hand.

CalfOTel Duo Fence

The CalfOTel Duo Fence is a fence that can be connected to two Plus/Comfort calf hutches and is designed to keep calves in a small group of two calves. The calves still have their own hutch with their own outdoor area for the first few days. The middle gate can be easily and quickly folded at any time, creating one outdoor area for two calf hutches. It is therefore particularly suitable for organic farms and complies with the legislation that calves must be kept in groups from an early age.

It is possible to fold up only the middle fence, as well as also the entire CalfOTel Duo fence. In addition, the fencing is equipped with two front gates, making it possible to lock the two calf hutches. It is also possible to adapt the fences of Plus/Comfort calf hutches that have already been purchased into one Duo Fence. For this, only a conversion kit is required.
