Open Top

This calf-rearing system has a striking open roof and can be installed indoors in the shed or outdoors under a lean-to. For cattle farmers who want to rear their calves indoors or outdoors under a lean-to, this is an incredibly practical and flexible system. The system has 2 fixed wheels at the front of the calf hutch.

Strengths:

The "Open Top" provides a good view of the calves.

We offer this frameless system as well as a system with a frame. The calf box with a frame (with swivel castors) offers greater flexibility and even better mobility. The frame is equipped with grating, so that the straw stays dry. The frame itself creates a working height that is about 25 centimetres higher, and is also equipped with castors, making the product easy to move and tilt for cleaning.

Open Top Premium

The CalfOTel Open Top Premium is a mobile calf hutch, suitable for farmers who want to keep calves indoors or under a lean-to. The product scores well on ease of use and hygiene. It has a two-piece locking gate, which allows you to enter the calf hutch without disturbing the calf while drinking. The two-part locking gate can be opened and removed in one simple operation. This also applies to the grid. It can be removed and reinstalled within seconds. This makes cleaning very easy. The system is practical and flexible and ensures a high level of hygiene and user-friendliness.

Open Top Premium Roof & Collection Tray

To provide extra protection for the calves against drafts and wind, you can equip the Open Top Premium Single with a roof, which is easy to (dis)assemble.

The CalfOTel Open Top Premium Collection Tray for the Open Top Premium collects the urine and manure under the gratings and disposes this through a central drain at the back. Ideally this drain is combined with a drain in the floor. This ensures the shed floor under the Open Top Premium remains clean. This saves time cleaning the shed floor periodically. One Collection Tray is required for the Open Top Premium Single, two are required for the Duo and the Triple variant requires three Collection Trays.
